Begin your adventure by paying a visit to Vinh Trang Pagoda, an exquisite temple dating back to the late 19th century. After that, you will hop aboard a sampan and cruise down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.
• Pause at Unicorn Island, where you can leisurely stroll along country lanes, marvel at lush orchards, and indulge in an array of tropical fruits while being serenaded by traditional folk songs performed by local musicians. Venture further to a fruit plantation, immersing yourself in the vibrant sights and fragrant aromas.
• Next, glide through the Thoi Son canal in a hand-rowed sampan, allowing the tranquility of the countryside to wash over you. Visit a family-run business, discover the secrets of a honey-bee farm, and savor the delightful flavors of honey tea and coconut candy at a workshop. Afterward, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and have a break.
• In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to cycle through Tan Thach village, where you can interact with friendly locals and gain firsthand insight into their daily lives in the Mekong Delta.
